Terms of Service

Last updated: 7 July 2026

The short version: Axlin is a posture-awareness tool you subscribe to. It's not medical advice or a medical device. Try it free for 7 days; cancel anytime; the annual plan gives you two months free versus monthly. Be reasonable in how you use it, and understand it's provided "as is".

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Axlin desktop application and this website (together, the "Service"), operated by Axlin. By creating an account, starting a trial, or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, don't use the Service.

1. Who can use Axlin

You must be at least 16 years old and able to enter into a binding agreement. If you use Axlin on behalf of an organization, you confirm you're authorized to accept these Terms for it.

2. Your account

You sign in with Google. You're responsible for keeping access to your account secure and for activity under it. Let us know promptly at support@axlin.app if you suspect unauthorized use.

3. License

Subject to these Terms, we grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use Axlin on devices you own or control, for as long as your subscription or trial is active.

4. Trials, subscriptions & billing

5. Cancellation & refunds

You can cancel anytime from your account; cancellation stops future renewals and takes effect at the end of the current billing period. You keep access until then. Because a full free trial lets you evaluate Axlin before paying, subscription fees are generally non-refundable except where required by law. If something went wrong, email support@axlin.app — we're a small operation and we try to be fair.

6. Acceptable use

Please don't:

7. Health disclaimer — please read

Axlin is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. It is a general wellness and awareness tool that estimates aspects of your posture from a webcam to help you notice habits.

A front-facing webcam cannot assess everything — it can't see your lower back, hips, legs, or wrists, and its estimates are approximate. Do not rely on Axlin for any medical decision. If you have pain or a health concern, consult a qualified healthcare professional. Never disregard professional advice because of something Axlin indicated.

8. Service "as is"

We work hard to make Axlin useful and accurate, but the Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or uninterrupted operation, to the fullest extent permitted by law.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Axlin will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for any loss arising from your use of or inability to use the Service. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid for the Service in the 12 months before the claim.

10. Termination

You can stop using Axlin and close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms or use the Service in a way that risks harm to others or to the Service. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (such as disclaimers and limitation of liability) will continue to apply.

11. Changes to the Service and Terms

We may update the Service and these Terms over time. If we make material changes to the Terms, we'll update the date above and, where appropriate, notify you. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
