Posture software that actually looks
Reminder apps guess on a timer. Wearables need charging and sticking to your skin. Axlin checks the real thing — briefly, locally, and against a baseline that belongs to you.
Calibrated to your body
A two-minute setup learns your proportions, your camera, your desk. Every judgment after that is a comparison against you — not a stock silhouette.
A glance, not a stream
Every few minutes Axlin looks for about five seconds, scores what it saw, and goes back to sleep. It stays silent when lighting is bad or you've turned away.
Nudges, not nagging
A quiet notification only when you've genuinely drifted — thresholds come from spine biomechanics research. Snooze for meetings from the tray or the pill.
The camera feed never leaves your machine
- Frames are analyzed in memory and immediately discarded — no recordings, no screenshots, no "anonymized samples."
- Detection runs entirely on your CPU. Monitoring works with the network cable unplugged.
- The only network traffic is sign-in and subscription status. No analytics or tracking inside the app.
In fairness: a front-facing webcam can't see below the desk — lower back, legs, and wrists are out of frame. Axlin covers your neck and shoulders, where screen-related strain concentrates.
One person, one app, one slightly better neck.
I write code for a living, and a few years of that gave my neck an opinion about my career. The wearables felt like homework and the reminder apps just guessed on a timer — nagging me when I was sitting fine, silent when I wasn't.
So I built the thing I wanted: something that actually looks, actually knows my baseline, and otherwise leaves me alone. It runs on my machine all day. Now it can run on yours.
P.S. — support@axlin.app goes straight to me, not a ticket queue.

Questions, answered
Does Axlin record or upload my webcam video?
No. Frames are analyzed in memory on your machine and immediately discarded. Nothing is recorded, stored, or transmitted — monitoring works with your network cable unplugged. The only things Axlin sends anywhere are your sign-in and subscription status.
How does it know what good posture looks like for me?
A two-minute calibration. You sit at your best, then lean the way you usually do, and Axlin builds a statistical baseline of your body — your proportions, your camera, your desk. Every later judgment is a comparison against you, not against a stock silhouette.
Will it nag me during meetings?
Snooze nudges for 10 minutes, 30 minutes, an hour, or until you say otherwise — from the tray menu or the pill itself. And because Axlin checks in short bursts rather than watching continuously, it stays quiet whenever it isn't confident about what it saw.
What can't it detect?
Anything a front-facing webcam can't see: lower-back slouching, pelvic tilt, crossed legs, wrist position. We'd rather tell you now than have you find out later.
Why is it a subscription?
You're paying for a maintained product: detection tuning as the models improve, OS updates that don't break your setup, and support answered by the developer. If subscriptions aren't your thing, annual works out to $6.60/month — and the first 20 users lock $5/month for life.
Which platforms are supported?
Windows 10+ and macOS 12+, with any built-in or USB webcam. Linux is planned — the detection engine already runs there.
Your neck will thank you in a month.
